Susan Sontags 'Illness as Metaphor is about the 'myth' of illness. In her essay she compares the public perspectives of cancer with those on tuberculoses. I read this essay when my grandfather was suffering from cancer. I thought it was difficult to visualize this disease beceasue it's an invisible 'enemy'.
The videos are about the evolution of a subject more than about a plot. Also, it’s not about telling a story that is true, but incorporate the subjectivity. Thus questioning the value of authenticity.
